Art Scott comes right to your home.  Why take lessons?
To enhance your memory:

There is a strong association between cognitively challenging
leisure activities (such as learning the Piano) and a decreased risk of
developing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. A
recent study in an Illinois retirement home revealed that seniors,
aged between late70s to early 90s, had a 50-70% memory
improvement after just 16 weeks of learning a new musical
instrument. It is believed that the processes involved in playing a
musical instrument may provide the cognitive exercise the brain
needs to protect itself against memory loss.
"Musical activity throughout life may serve as a
challenging cognitive exercise, making your
brain fitter and more capable of accommodating
the challenges of aging," study researcher Brenda
Hanna-Pladdy, a neurologist at the Emory University
 School of Medicine.
